As the exclusive scientific partner for this project, the AgroEcology Unit has established the School for Biodiversity and Sustainable Nutrition & Agriculture on the Domain of Longchamp in Paris, with the photographer and film-maker Yann Arthus-Bertrand and his GoodPlanet Foundation.
This School has the mission to educate the general public about the fundamental challenges linked to the environment, biodiversity, agriculture and nutrition.
The infrastructure has in particular a modern equipped kitchen permetting the offer of courses on sustainable nutrition.
An associated exhibition on essential needs and natural resources has also been established, making it possible to inform visitors to the Domain about all the issues linked to water, agriculture, natural ecosystems and nutrition.
In September 2019, a public debate event was organised around the question of the emergence of new global sustainable agricultural circumstances with Yann Arthus-Bertrand (President of the GoodPlanet Foundation), Christian Rousseau (Director of the Academy of Agriculture in France), Olivia Polski (Deputy at Paris City Hall, in charge of Commerce, Arts & Crafts and Liberal Professions), Philippe Bernard (Director of Fresh Products at System U), Michel Mustin (author of the reference book « Le Compost ») and Denis Von der Weid (President of Antenna Foundation).
