Film “A fertile Earth once more”

A soil suitable for cultivation constitutes an essential non-renewable resource : 1,5 metres of fertile soil is formed on average in 10’000 years.

To preserve and regenerate fertile soil should be today one of the major preoccupations of our society.

Among the 5 billion acres of arable land existing on the planet, more than 40% are now gravely affected by deforestation, erosion, physical & biochemical degradation and desertification.

A complete change of paradigm in our relationship with earth, and the Earth, is indispensable.

This short documentary film of 9 minutes has the aim to sensitize the largest number of people to this still too unappreciated essential challenge.
