In collaboration with the Antenna Schools Programme, the AgroEcology Unit establishes didactic cultures in public schools, in order to sensitise the children, as from their youngest age, to questions linked to the environment, nutrition and agriculture.
Children represent a very important vector of sensitisation and change of behaviour with their parents.
In partnership with the local NGO ECCA (Environmental Camps for Conservation Awareness), Antenna has established didactic cultures in 12 schools in the Valley of Katmandou in Nepal.
A greenhouse nursery has also been built, in order to enable ECCA to produce in an autonomous manner the necessary seedlings to feed the various productions of the schools and supply supplementary plants for commercial purposes.
In partnership with the local Association « Le Préau », Antenna is setting up in 2020 didactic cultures in 15 schools in the region of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. This production will serve to feed the school canteens, in addition to serving as a didactic basis for training.
